Sheridan Averson
I am a counselor at The Village at the Fargo location. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology at NDSU and my Master of Science in Clinical Counseling through the U of J, and I was licensed in 2022. I have an affinity for mixing and matching research-based therapy techniques as a way to tailor the services to each client.
I have a special interest in Horticulture Therapy, where plants and plant-based activities are utilized during sessions to provide a calming focus and environment to clients. This is partially due to my inherent love for plants and gardening, and I boast a collection of over 50 plants in my own home.
Additionally, I have a strong interest in supporting individuals through the postpartum period and helping new parents navigate the emotional, mental, and relational changes that come with this stage of life.
