Sam Schofield
I’m a collaborative, down-to-earth therapist who believes therapy works best when it’s guided by what matters most to you. I primarily work with individuals and families, and I balance being goal-focused with creating a space where people feel comfortable being themselves.
I have training in trauma-informed approaches, including EMDR, Brainspotting, and TF-CBT, and I help clients work through difficult experiences that may be affecting their day-to-day lives. I’m also a proud ally and an affirming therapist for LGBTQIA+ individuals and their families, and I strive to create a space where people feel safe, respected, and supported.
I earned my Master of Science degree in 2013 and started my career with The Village in Fargo before moving to the St. Cloud office in 2014, where I continue to provide diagnostic assessments and therapy services. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I tend to look at the bigger picture. Our relationships, families, and life experiences all shape who we are, and therapy can be a place to better understand those connections and create meaningful change.
"Sam is amazing! 4 years with her and I refuse to go to anyone else ever again." -Client Testimonial
